Bangangté – «la ville fontaine» – and its Mayor Eric Niat will host the biggest Water Forum of the West Region and the country taking place at its city hall from March 20th to March 22nd, 2024. The Forum represents the perfect occasion to bring together the actors and major players of the water sector, exchange strategic planning objectives, share best practices with the purpose of finding sustainable solutions, ranging from water access to sanitation.
What Water will not only be present for the 3-day Forum in Bangangté, but is also a partner, alongside other local, national and international actors of the water sector such as CAMWATER & Fonds Spécial d’Equipement et d’Intervention Intercommunale ( FEICOM).
The Forum represents a great opportunity to grow impact, presenting our initiative to 40 municipalities with a potential reach of 3 million people. What Water is expected to lead the discussion on digitalization for a better monitoring and maintenance of water access facilities, showcasing solutions from its partner Koosmik.
The last day of the Forum, the 22nd of March marks World Water Day, an annual United Nations observance day celebrated internationally, that highlights the importance of access to fresh water.
